OOH it was sooo cold and windy this day. These cute cousins had their pictures taken together during the same session and they did such a wonderful job. And just look how absolutely adorable these pictures came out! I just love when such beautiful babies and children come and visit me at the studio. I just love those huge blue eyes on these gorgeous babies. The little girl reminded me so much of my daughter Melissa when she was this age…except…she has huge brown eyes…not blue.

It’s been so rainy and cold lately and with the lack of sun I am sure we are all running low on vitamin D. However this is when the studio comes in so nice. I am loving Bethany’s orange sweater on this background. And ooooh how I just love how these images turned out. Diego was in such a great mood and wanted to put on a show for us all afternoon. He in fact did not want to share the spotlight with mom…and wanted the attention and entertainment from Grandma all to himself!  It was completely adorable and a little part of me missed photographing all the babies I used to photograph years back…and of course my own when they were little babies and cute and didn’t talk back.

I so enjoyed this photo session. I met this wonderful family last year and had the honor to photograph them this again this fall. I just loved the interaction between these two siblings. They were so fun-loving during this session and  I just could’nt stop snapping pictures. I love when natural images just seem to organically happen like these of these two brothers. I think they will grow to cherish these images as they grow and one day can appreciate having the interaction between them at this age captured by these images. I hope so anyway!

Our mornings are bringing a chill to the air and fall is peeking around the corner! This is my favorite time of year.  I love the color the earth brings and a Georgia fall is like no other! It’s also such a wonderful family time. Fall festivals, hay rides, and for me just the simpleness of sitting outside in my backyard with my hubby and kids and enjoying each others company.
