New Simplicity Photography

What an amazing session! I simply must say! WOW! Haleigh was recommended to me through a long time friend.  As it turns out, Haleigh’s mom was telling me that just as my friend was telling her about me, at that very moment she was on my website…( I just had to add in that little detail.) As you can see we did a few shots at ANDY’S NURSERY just before in arriving in Peachtree City. The nursery is actually just beside Collector Corner on the corner of 54 and 34. It is nestled between two of my favorite shooting spots…Line Creek in Peachtree City…and Old Town Sharpsburg. If you are a gardener…or flower lover, you simply must check out Andy’s Nursery! Of course after my shoot, I stopped in to buy a couple rare plants and a wonderfully, ripe delicious fresh peach. I just love living in the moment…it is always fun to change up routine just a little and live in your own town as if you were on vacation and exploring the local scene. Haleigh and her mother were a true pleasure..and myself..well I was just a lucky photographer!halpanel3halpanel2img_2078img_2164file0435file0337halpanelfile0211

I was so excited to happen upon the flower shop on the corner of HWY 34 and HWY 54. It turned out to be a wonderful background. It is fun and whimiscal. I really enjoyed shooting here and I love finding new shooting spots. Sometimes you just have to take the blinders off and look at the world through different eyes. I have driven past this shop so many times and it was’nt until just recently I thought what a great photography spot it would be…Well it was. Kayla did a great job…and I love her taste in clothes. It was a fun session….hopefully she enjoyed it too. kayla42kayla3img_1826kaylapanel2kaylapanel

  • You got some great shots — I’ve never gone that far south on 54 — I’ll have to check it out sometime!

  • oops..I am sure you have driven past it….it’s right by collector corner…the owner was really nice and had no problem with me taking pictures there.

  • Such a pretty girl. Great pictures. I love when I find new places to work. I bet she loves these.

These pictures speak for themselves. The colors, the emotion, the details. Shavon has impeccable taste. I loved her hair, her dress, her shoes, her colors….all. She brought everything together with such style and sophistication. This top image in black and white, I feel is one of my best photographs ever taken. To me it captures the essence of their relationship. You can see the way he looks at his new bride with a grin of admiration. In her you can just see the joy she feels in her smile and the way she holds her flowers and her hand. I love the candidness of this image. It is spontaneous, it is real, it is Shavon and Courtney. Shavon and Courtney got married at the H.J.C. Bowden Sr. Multi-Purpose Facility in East Point, Ga.cakeshavonimg_0529img_0499img_0293littlemanimg_0557-copyimg_0745-copy1img_0231img_0167shavoncloseupimg_0716-copyimg_0861shavonpanelwed1img_04911

  • Great wedding. I love the detail images. The picture with the groom and all the girls is so fun.
